Often we hear the question “Why still film, I have a digital camera and I’m not planning to work analogue”. Darkroom principles are at the core of photography. When you use photoshop, but also to understand the real meaning of contrast, even when you work in the Studio. And really.. you will love it. The Analogue training is not longer part of our F3Y Curriculum, but individual training is still possible.
Making good images is one thing, post-production is another thing. Learning to do that with Lightroom and Photoshop will improve the quality of your images. Masking, retouching, multiple selection techniques and working non-destructive will help you. But also learning how to archive your precious images is an important part of being a photographer.
Would you like to have an application interview?
This application interview will take about 30 minutes.
During this interview you show us your portfolio (20 photos; digital or prints). Also we will ask you some technical questions.

Good photography doesn’t need a specific camera, but it sure helps to have a good camera. That’s why we advice to buy a full frame D-SLR from one of the two leading brands. Or a professional MFT camera. Starting just with a 50 mm fixed lens would already make a good camera lens combination.
